Well, so much for my weekly updates. Dave and I are still adjusting to parenthood and all that…wow! What fun it is to have a “mini-me” around! Julian is much more of a “mini-me” for Dave at this stage, as he looks a lot like Dave did as a baby. Once we start seeing more of his little personality I’ll bet I’ll see a lot of me in him also!

We had a milestone passage this week...Julian is off of his oxygen during the day. We were noticing that he was saturating between 99 and 100% on a setting of 1/16th of a liter per minute, so we turned him to the lowest setting which is 1/32nd of a liter, and he was still saturating at 99-100%. Normal is 94-100%. The day we took him off we kept him off for 36 hours, testing him constantly. During the day he stayed between 95 and 100% saturation and at night he was 90-94%. So, we have him off during the day and put him back on the lowest setting at night for the time being.

Meanwhile, we still have weekly lab work to do, and monthly kidney follow-up appointments with his kidney doctor. That monthly visit is tomorrow. More on that when we have more info.

Sorry this is so short, but I am really really tired!
